Petite Performers
Our Petite Performers class is designed for children aged 3 to 5 as an introduction to dance. It’s a fun and interactive class where children can learn to dance, whilst singing, playing games and listening to music. It helps to improve children’s co-ordination, concentration, balance, posture, and language skills. Children are allowed to freely express themselves in a safe and friendly environment.
Modern
Modern is a high energy style of dance that originated in America. These classes aim to improve strength, flexibility, musicality and confidence whilst also covering different styles of dance including Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary. Exams can be taken in grades Primary to Advanced 2 but as well as working towards exams it’s important for everyone to have fun.
Acro
Acrobatic Arts is a Professional Curriculum for Acrobatic Dance. The program includes both a Teacher's Training and Certification program and Student exams to promote excellence in tumbling, flexibility, strength, ballance, contortion and group/partner tricks.
Tap
Tap has recently been updated and now encourages a more American style. It also uses some elements that come from African dance, Irish dance and Clog dancing. Children are encouraged to have fun and enjoy this rhythmic style of dancing. Exams can be taken in grade’s Primary to Advanced 2.
Ballet
We aim to teach a very high standard of ballet. Children will start learning the basic technique in our Petite Performers class and carry on learning and improving their technique as they work through the grades. Exams can be taken in grades Primary to Advanced 2 and again it is still important that everyone has fun.
Higher level exams (Grade 6 and above) taken in all genres gain UKAS point which help towards any University applications in the future.
